2023 Immersion Camps
JUNE 29-JULY 13: SWORD CAMP
AUGUST 16-30: TAI JI CAMP
Take the time to go deep into the practice of Wudang Internal martial arts and self healing. This is an immersion training program designed to teach martial discipline and daoist philosophy as a way of life. Wake up, train, eat, study, train, meditate, sleep. This year we have 2 separate sessions of 14 day blocks with our basic curriculum plus one focus art.
FOOD AND LODGING
This year we will be running our intensive courses at Cedar Bloom Farm. Located in the Illinois Valley of Southern Oregon, on 100 acres of forested land, nestled alongside the Illinois River, just east of the Rogue River and Siskiyou National Forest.

Camping for students is $40/night in addition to tuition. Explore the Farm:

Luxurious outdoor kitchen equipped with gas stoves, counter space, cookware and utensils. Students will bring their own food and pack out trash.
Students will have the option to join our food program for meals. This will be a rotating cook schedule composed of student teams. Typically each team will cook once, and do clean up once every 4 days. The fee for the food program is for purchasing bulk groceries. If you have very specific dietary needs, you can opt out and cook for yourself with your own ingredients in the communal and fully equipped kitchen. The past few years using the food program has been joyous and delicious, and a central part of how we commune over mealtime, we highly recommend joining. The food program covers lunch and dinner, breakfast is prepared by the individual.
Those traveling without a vehicle, we will take you to the store for provisions when we pick you up and on rest days. The closest town is Cave Junction, located 5 minutes from camp. Laundry can also be done in town on rest days.

Traveling
The closest airport to our camp is in Medford, OR (Rogue Valley International Medford Airport). We arrange carpooling pickup from Medford to our camp in Cave Junction (about an hour from Medford) once you are registered and we begin our preliminary email preparations.

Here is a google calendar link, scroll to July or August to have a nice visual of start day and rest days. Rest days are subject to change but generally should be as listed here. Rest days are every 5th day, there are only 2 rest days in this 15 day course, so we may sprinkle some extra rest in as needed.

You will arrive on the start day of your program, sometime between noon and 5pm to set up your camp, orient yourself, settle in, join in a group meal. Our first time point is on the evening of that first day at 7pm for our opening circle. The following day we start training at sunrise.

We do prefer you arrive at the site according to this schedule. If you need to arrive in the area earlier please make your own accommodations off site to allow us space to prepare to receive you.

The last day of your course is a full training day with exams and closing celebrations, it is the following day that you will pack up camp and "check out" and commence with your departure travels.

Testimonials
Hey Lindsey,

I wanted to properly thank you for everything you’ve done for us on the mountain. I had an amazing time learning from you and getting to cultivate in a quiet and serene setting. I also really enjoyed the company of everyone who came out for the program.
You really are a noble, generous person for sharing the teachings with us. You’re helping a lot of people grow and change for the better. I can honestly say that you’re mentorship is helping me to grow up to be the person I wanna be. And this is only the beginning of it.

Sincerely, Mike
IN THANKS…

First, I just want to acknowledge the opportunities and successes you’ve created for yourself. You are walking the walk and leading by example. Doors are opening for you and your path is becoming more clear. Congratulations does not account for all of your dedication and hard work. If I didn’t know you, one could see this just by watching you move. But I do know you, and your physical form pales in comparison to the grace, depth, and strength of your spirit. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to train, work, and learn from you.

With Honor, Graham
I really need to communicate to you how grateful I still am for the two months I worked with and learned from you. I would say that it’s the most beautiful, valuable, and spiritually memorable experience of my life time. The work on the land brought my heart hope about my existence that I thought I could never feel again.

When some of us are “fortunate” enough to find *you*, Lindsey, or be led to you…
…we are being given an opportunity to work together *with* you, to enhance our existence as the tiny organisms we are in this universe…so we can get the bigger picture, of everyone’s purpose as a larger whole.
